Smart Tech Solution LLC - Extended Warranty Terms and Conditions
These Extended Warranty Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to the extended warranty service provided by Smart Tech Solution LLC ("Smart Tech," "we," "us," or "our") for eligible products ("Product" or "Products"). By purchasing the Smart Tech Extended Warranty, you ("Customer," "you," or "your") agree to the terms outlined below. These Terms govern the rights and obligations of both Smart Tech and the Customer in relation to the extended warranty coverage.
2. Extended Warranty Coverage:
The Smart Tech Extended Warranty extends the coverage of your Product beyond the manufacturer's initial warranty period. The extended warranty coverage will begin immediately after the expiration of the manufacturer's original warranty, which is typically one (1) year from the date of purchase. The Smart Tech Extended Warranty provides an additional three (3) years of coverage beyond the manufacturer's warranty period.
3. Covered Components:
During the extended warranty period, Smart Tech will provide labor-related services for repairs, replacements, and technical support required for your Product. The extended warranty exclusively covers labor costs associated with repairing or replacing defective components. Parts, hardware, and any other materials required for repair or replacement are not covered under this extended warranty.
4. Warranty Exclusions:
The Smart Tech Extended Warranty does not cover the cost of any parts, hardware, or materials necessary for repairs or replacements. Additionally, this extended warranty does not cover damages or defects caused by:
Accidental damage, misuse, abuse, neglect, or unauthorized modification
Acts of nature, such as lightning, floods, earthquakes, and power surges
Failure to follow manufacturer's guidelines for installation, operation, and maintenance
Third-party repairs or modifications not authorized by Smart Tech
Cosmetic damage that does not affect the functionality of the Product
Software-related issues, including but not limited to viruses, malware, and data loss
Any other circumstances that are beyond the control of Smart Tech
5. Obtaining Service:
In the event that your covered Product experiences an issue during the extended warranty period, you must contact Smart Tech's customer service to initiate a service request. Service requests can be initiated through our website, customer service hotline, or authorized service centers. A proof of purchase and valid extended warranty certificate may be required to verify eligibility for service.
6. Service Process:
Upon receiving a service request, Smart Tech will evaluate the issue and determine the necessary steps for repair or replacement. If the issue is covered under the extended warranty, Smart Tech will provide labor-related services to address the problem. Any required parts or materials will be the responsibility of the Customer.
The Smart Tech Extended Warranty is non-transferable. It applies only to the original Customer who purchased the extended warranty and the associated Product.
Smart Tech reserves the right to terminate or modify the extended warranty program at any time. In the event of termination, Customers who have already purchased the extended warranty will continue to receive coverage for the duration of the extended warranty period.
9. Limitation of Liability:
Smart Tech's liability under this extended warranty is limited solely to labor-related services. Smart Tech shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use or inability to use the Product.
10. Governing Law:
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where Smart Tech Solution LLC is registered.
By purchasing the Smart Tech Extended Warranty, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. These Terms represent the entire agreement between Smart Tech and the Customer regarding the extended warranty coverage for your Product.
